Manage Your Account

Your online library account allows you to view and manage your personal details and library activity.  You can login to your library account via the catalogue or use the Newcastle Libraries App to do this and more.

What you can manage in your account

You can access and update the following information:

• Your phone number and email address
• Your preferred contact method
• Current loans and their due dates
• Current holds, including your place in the holds queue and the option to suspend a hold
• Your borrowing history (eLibrary items are not included)
• Bookmarked titles
• Saved searches (via catalogue only)
  
  

Your library PIN

Your library PIN is required to:

• Log in to your library account 
• Access Open+ Libraries 
• Use library computers
• Print/Scan/Copy

If you have forgotten your PIN or need help resetting it, please contact us or speak to a staff member at your nearest library.

Lost or stolen library card

If your library card is lost or stolen, please notify Newcastle Libraries as soon as possible. This helps protect your account and prevents unauthorised use. 

Update your library card credit
