The Memory Room
Tailored for people living with dementia and their carers, the Memory Room encourages conversation, laughter and connection. The theme-based sessions allow participants to step back in time to enliven memory and recollection.
Every 2nd Wednesday until 9 December 2026, 11am - 12:30pm

- Oral History kits: Would you like to capture the memories of your family, and loved ones as a keepsake? Each kit contains a H4n Pro Handy Recorder together with an Oral History Handbook which will give you some tips and hints on how to create wonderful recordings to enjoy and share.
The Memory Room Toolkit is a resource for libraries and other service organisations that support people living with dementia to remain socially engaged in their community.
The book provides ideas and tips on how to create simple, engaging and practical sessions focused on memory and using objects, images, art and music.
