Hire a Venue
Newcastle Libraries are literary, educational and recreational centres for the Newcastle community. As well as lending a range of materials we conserve historical collections, host events and activities, support community education and provide resources for our growing community.

Spaces for hire
Digital Library Podcast Studio
The Digital Library is located on the ground floor of the Newcastle City Council Administration Building in Newcastle West. The Library includes a Podcast and Media Room with new audio visual equipment including a green screen and modern podcasting equipment for up to four participants.

Newcastle City Library is located in the War Memorial and Cultural Centre on Laman Street, in the heart of the City of Newcastle. It is a multi-level building boasting a wide range of resources, dedicated exhibition spaces, meetings rooms and community facilities including study spaces and a local history area.

Wallsend Library is a spacious library full of natural light and boasts living ficus trees in the centre of an open plan setting. It is located in the heart of Wallsend, adjacent to the Wallsend Village Shopping Centre and boasts a wide range of resources and community facilities including study rooms, meeting rooms and an exhibition area.
