Archives & State Records
Newcastle Libraries is the archival repository for the records of the City of Newcastle and holds other significant archival collections from public institutions, private companies and individuals.
Newcastle Libraries is also a regional repository for State Records of NSW and part of a network of regional repositories providing access to State archives of regional significance. Other Regional Repositories are located in host institutions in Armidale, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong and Broken Hill.
