Sustainable Living: Seed Pack and Chat - November - Wallsend Library

Get involved with the Newcastle Seed Library by helping to pack seeds for this community seed-sharing project. Meet other gardeners, exchange ideas, learn from fellow enthusiasts and enjoy conversations about all things gardening in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Participants are invited to take home a selection of vegetable, herb or flower seeds to plant in their gardens and help grow our local gardening community.

The session also includes an introduction to the diversity of gardens being planted in the verge (nature strip), inspirational stories from residents across the city and how you can transform your verge into habitat for wildlife or an edible veggie garden. An easy quiz with prizes is part of the fun!

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to connect with others, contribute to a local seed-sharing initiative and discover ways to make a positive impact in your neighbourhood.

All welcome.
