School Holidays: LitUp Presents - Dub Leffler at Newcastle City Library - NAIDOC Week
We are excited to announce award-winning author and illustrator Dub Leffler will be joining us at Newcastle City Library during NAIDOC Week as part of the LitUp Program.
Dub will host an inspiring one-hour all-ages workshop, sharing his creative process and leading engaging drawing activities for all to share. This is an amazing opportunity to hear from an award-winning artist who has written over 30 books, earning many shortlistings and awards along the way – including the CBCA’s Book of the Year in 2019 for Sorry Day.
Ages: All ages welcome - Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

About Dub Leffler
In a career spanning 25 years, Bigambul man, Dub Leffler has written and illustrated over 30 books for children, held workshops in over 300 schools nationally and overseas and earnt many accolades. His art appears alongside the likes of Banksy, Shaun Tan and Quentin Blake to name a few. Celebrated universally, Dub’s illustrations have featured at The Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy, and his work is held in permanent collections around the globe including The Library of Congress in the States. Some of Dub’s current projects are - his own story, Soar due out in 2027 and his current work The Drover’s Son, written by Leah Purcell.
