Sarcochilus
This plate is from Part 5, October 1879, and depicts Sarcochilus falcatus (left) and Sarcochilus montanus (right).
The author notes that falcatus is generally found on myrtles and figs and in low brushes, and the montanus on sassafras and in mountainous terrain. The author found the falcatus samples in the Macleay Valley, Wollongong and Port Macquarie. The montanus samples were from Mount Tomah, Mount Wilson and Mount Banda-banda.
