Author Talk: The View from the Balcony - Janette Paul

Friday 11 April 2025
18 days from now
6 - 7pm
1 hour
Join us to hear author Janette Paul in discussion with Karen Eastwood for the launch of her latest novel, The View from the Balcony. A heartwarming and evocative novel of love, friendship and family, where hope overcomes all – even terrible hospital coffee.
An uplifting novel about the healing power of friendship, The View from the Balcony follows three women in various life stages (late 50s, mid 30s, and early 20s) as they navigate different challenges in their lives. An exploration of how we are impacted by the people around us, Janette Paul delves into real, relatable issues such as caregiver’s burnout, grief and loss, and feeling stuck in life. It is also a story of resilience, growth, and what happens when we let go of long-held ideas of ourselves to get some place better.
