Join Sappho Queers for a relaxed, creative gathering designed to support Newcastle’s queer community and anyone who’d like to connect, socialise and spend time with others in a welcoming space.
We invite you to dive into intuitive soul crafting—a gentle, creative activity that encourages reflection and connection with your inner self while enjoying the company of fellow community members. After crafting, there’ll be time to share what you discovered through the process, followed by some poetry readings.
Please bring along some nibbles and non‑alcoholic drinks to enjoy throughout the session.
For the craft activity, we’ll be using magazines, glue sticks, cardboard cards and scissors. Bring your creative spirit—and your poems—to share if you’d like.
