Ashley Kalagian Blunt returns to Newcastle Libraries to discuss her latest psychological thriller Like, Follow, Die. The book explores the thin line between justice and revenge, as a mother’s search for answers about her son’s death. Corinne Gray’s life is falling apart. When homicide detective Kyle Nazarian unexpectedly knocks on her door on a rainy morning, she knows why. He wants to talk about her son, Ben.  

Praised by Claudia Karvan for its 'chilling authenticity' Like, Follow, Die explores the impossible choice a mother is forced to make after her son is drawn to the darkest corners of the internet. 

Ashley will be joined by social media influencer and blogger Sarah Kearns to unpack the terrifying realities lurking behind our screens.

About Ashley Kalagian Blunt and Sarah Kearns

Ashley Kalagian Blunt is the author of Dark Mode and Cold Truth both internationally published psychological thrillers exploring the dangers of technology. She has been shortlisted for multiple awards including the ABIA General Fiction Book of the Year, and twice for the Ned Kelly Award for Best Crime Fiction. She is a frequent speaker and panel moderator, and co-hosts a podcast on writing, creativity and health. 

Sarah Kearns is a mum to four boys and a well-recognised voice on social media in Australia. She is known for creating an authentic, supportive space for women while using her platform to advocate for causes close to her heart.
