TAFE Beginning Computing - Wallsend Library

This class will feature a dedicated TAFE teacher delivering beginner level computing classes followed by some personal device help for attendees.

We all need to thrive in a digital world! This course will help you gain the following skills:

• Access a basic computer program
• Access basic internet site for personal use
• Plan to set up a personal study area
• Use a simple spreadsheet
• Word process a basic document

Attendees do not need to bring a device.

Please note: There will be no session on Monday 10 March as Newcastle City Library will be closed for our staff development day. Find out more on the Our Branches page.

Weekly class schedule: 

• 9.30 - 11.45am - Beginning Computer Classes
• 11.45 - 12.30pm - One on one tech help, drop in or stay back after computing classes
