White Nautilus
8: White Nautilus, Peter Masters 2015
This white nautilus shell is a different shell to the previous Blue Nautilus. Here I’ve allowed the Mother of Pearl to shine through in all its glory.
It has a digital background - I’ve taken a close up of the structure of the shell itself and inserted it behind the shell. It also has a digital reflection to make it stand up, balance and make it appear to be standing on its own. Again, it’s the 3 dimensionality in nature’s perfect form that makes this into a satisfying image. It has a very bohemian coastal look.
