King's Birthday Hours: Our libraries will be closed for the King's Birthday public holiday on Monday 9 June. Return chutes will remain open and normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 10 June. Members can renew borrowed items and access content via the Newcastle Libraries app or website.

From 3pm on weekdays, you can access Wallsend Library using your library membership number or barcode and PIN to securely enter the building using our Open+ system.

Not a member? Joining is free and easy and you can join online or in person at any library branch.
